I am undertaking research into meaning-based coping and its relationship to psychological adjustment & quality of life in cancer patients. I am recruiting people at diagnosis and following them for a year in order to examine (potential) changes in their belief systems as well as post-traumatic growth. Ronnie Janoff-Bulman's assumptive world theory is being used to provide a conceptual structure for the study which incorporates both qualitative and quantitative data.

I am currently working toward completing a PsyD. I am very interested in conducting existential groups for geriatric populations. I have considered expanding this topic into some sort of dissertation. However, I am still in the very early stages of conceptualization. I would appreciate input from anyone who's interested.
